The 6th Annual Honoring Our Heroes Night was a tremendous success. From everyone at the Boston Police Foundation we would like to extend our sincere thank you’s for everyone who joined and supported.
With your support we were able to have an amazing event at the Hotel Commonwealth. We are proud to be able to honor Police Officer Jeffrey Lopes, Police Officer Nicole Grant, Police Officer Ydritzabel Oller, Police Officer Jorge Dias and Thaddeus Miles with our Community Policing Award. Their work in the community throughout the year is awe inspiring and we can’t thank them enough for what they do to support the local communities and bridge the gap between the communities and the Boston Police Department.
In addition to our awards ceremony we were thankful to have Commissioner Gross in attendance to provide an update on the department and emphasize the importance of the foundation. Commissioner Gross spoke on the mental well being of Officers and the tremendous part Community Policing plays within Boston.
