On Sunday January 28th , the Boston Police Foundation was honored to sponsor members of the Boston Police Department to participate in the Second Annual Boston Bruins BFit First Responder Challenge.
The event took place at the TD Garden to benefit the 100 Club of Massachusetts. The goal of the 100 Club is to extend financial support to the families of law enforcement officers and firefighters who are killed in the line of duty.
This special event brought together first responders and fitness enthusiasts to raise money for the 100 Club. This year, the Boston Police Department had two teams participate. Members of the Gang Unit and
Area B-2 ran this year’s course which consisted of running the stairs and concourses of the Garden.
