2019 was an exciting year for the Boston Police Foundation and the Boston Police Department as local business owners, Boston residents, and active community members came together to help support Bostons Finest! Below is a highlight for 2019 to commemorate a successful year as we prepare for another year of events, activities, and community engagement! Cheers to 2019, and here’s to happy and safe 2020! The Boston Police Foundation partnered with B/SPOKE to promote health, wellness, and supporting a local organization with fitness!
The 5th Annual Boston Police Foundation Gala is a prestigious event that honors the brave men and women of the Boston Police Department who have gone above and beyond the call of duty throughout the year. All proceeds from the event went directly towards our mission and our four focuses of Officer Wellness and Safety, Community Policing, New Technology and New Equipment!
The 7th Annual Honoring Our Heroes featured live musical entertainment, delicious food, and drink options, with a special key-note presentation. This annual event brought local business owners and residents together to help support the Boston Police and the Boston Police foundation ensure that every department has the equipment they need to keep Boston safe!

Every year, The Boston Police Department and The Boston Police Runner’s club host Boston’s Run to Remember on May 26th, 2019. A variety of charities from around Boston come together to honor 1st responders & Massachusetts police officers that have dedicated and lost their lives in the line of duty. Rising of the Pipes was a unique event hosted by Big Night Live that featured a battle of the bands between a variety of local and regional law enforcement groups which featured live music by Irish Tenor John McDermott, The Boston Police Gaelic Column, The New York City Police Emerald Society Pipes & Drums and The New Jersey State Police Pipes & Drums! The Boston Police and the Boston Police Foundation work closely to ensure that every officer has the support they need to continue in the line of duty. Whether it be standard equipment that an officer may need at a moment’s notice, to funding for outreach programs, fitness initiatives, and suicide prevention.
